Pictured is the skeleton of Anzu wyliei, an 11-foot-long dinosaur that resembles a huge chicken. Pittsburgh paleontologist Matt Lamanna is the lead author on a study of the
species published last week.
"He probably did look like a giant, really freaky chicken," said Lamanna, assistant curator of the Carnegie Museum,
who spent nine years
studying the animal and can't help but think of it when he now eats
chicken wings.
